Job summary

Spaulding MFG Inc in Saginaw, MI is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our manufacturing team. You will maintain financial records, process invoices, and support payroll in a fast-paced production environment.

The ideal candidate has proven bookkeeping experience, familiarity with manufacturing settings, and proficiency with Sage 50 or similar software. Strong GL, AP/AR skills and excellent organizational abilities are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
• Familiarity with manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in Sage 50 or similar bookkeeping software.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger, AP/AR, and bank reconciliations.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Associate degree or higher in Accounting/Finance or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Process invoices, purchase orders, and vendor payments in a timely manner
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a regular basis
• Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reporting
• Generate financial reports and summaries for management review
• Track and record manufacturing costs, inventory, and job costing data
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
