Ingram Content Group in La Vergne, TN is seeking a Specialty Retail Manager to drive sales and product merchandising for retailers. You will manage relationships with publishers, customers, and internal teams, analyze category trends, and coordinate inventory strategies including allocations and promotions.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, plus 4 years in sales, inventory management, project management, or marketing and at least 1 year of advanced Excel use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or year-for-year experience.
• 4 years progressive experience in Sales, Inventory Management, Project Management, or Marketing.
• 1 year previous intermediate to advanced experience in Excel creating spreadsheets to include formulas, data manipulation, charts/graphs and VLOOKUPs.

Responsibilities

• Manages relationships with publishers, customers and internal Ingram departments.
• Analyzes customer sales and book industry trends to understand product needs and identify opportunities.
• Creates and provides analysis and advice to customers and suppliers to drive profitability.
• Works with suppliers to create pre-packs, promotions, and marketing materials.
• Negotiates, manages and monitors terms of sale for title-specific business.
• Formulates sales forecasts and determines buy quantities and seasonality.
• Determines title allocations including initial orders and replenishment to maximize sales.
• Resolves order/shipment issues and coordinates with Operations, DCs, IT and customers.
• Communicates shipment issues and proposed solutions to customers.
• Develops solutions to shipping issues and reports on order receipt and fulfillment.
