Job summary

Penguin Random House LLC is seeking a Material Handler (Order Processor 3) at our Westminster distribution center in Maryland. The role involves picking and packing orders, using voice automation, and working on a mezzanine level. The base rate is $17.20 per hour and the 1st shift runs 7:00am–3:00pm.

The position requires lifting up to 35 pounds regularly (up to 55 pounds occasionally), standing for the full shift, and climbing stairs. Background checks and drug screening are part of hiring.

Qualifications

• Must have basic reading and math skills.
• Must be able to push, pull, bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 35 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 55 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer book orders using voice automation.
• Must be able to stand for the entire shift with minimal breaks.
• Be able to climb stairs and work on an upper mezzanine level.
