Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience required.
• Minimum of five years experience in a production/manufacturing environment; with at least two years in a leadership role.
• Experience in a FDA-regulated industry strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the execution of the daily/weekly production schedule for the assigned area and oversees shift production activities.
• Interacts with department management and other functions to coordinate all support activities.
• Empowers personnel to engage in defining and implementing continuous process improvements.
• Completes thorough deviation investigations with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Ensures compliant application of policies, safety programs, and cGMP standards.
• Coordinates staffing and training for the area; evaluates staff performance.
• Establishes effective communication across operations and shifts.
• Supports product release through review of production batch records.
• Creates, revises, and reviews departmental SOPs.
• Provides production data for monthly reports and line efficiency tracking.
• Performs other duties as assigned by production management.
