Job summary

Zaxbys is expanding and seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations in Statesboro, GA. You will ensure adherence to processes, train staff, and maintain service quality while driving guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include creating schedules, delegating shifts, coaching team members, and maintaining safety and regulatory compliance to support a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1-3 years management experience required.
• Open availability to work a minimum of 5 days and 32–48 hours per week.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must pass background check.
• Demonstrated leadership, organization, and cooperative interaction with others.

Responsibilities

• Engage in restaurant daily operations while maintaining standards.
• Create effective work schedules following company policies and local laws.
• Plan and delegate shift assignments and communicate expectations.
• Supervise and coach team members to meet quarterly goals.
• Ensure service, product quality, and cleanliness standards are upheld.
• Communicate performance concerns to General Manager and assist with reviews.
• Foster a positive culture and high morale through recognition.
• Handle guest and team member concerns promptly and respectfully.
• Maintain compliance with all guidelines, policies, and laws.
• Keep accurate records with management tools and report issues.
• Perform other duties to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
