You will coordinate patient care using the nursing process, participate in education and care planning, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. Relocation assistance up to $10,000 may be offered.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
• Registered Nurse licensed in North Carolina.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Education: participates in identifying learning needs and attends education programs.
• Evaluation of Care: identifies expected patient outcomes and communicates during team discussions.
• Implementation: provides care for patients with complex problems and uses nursing standards and policies.
• Leadership: collaborates to promote professional growth and unit goals.
• Patient Assessment: identifies care priorities and plans for discharge needs.
• Planning: collaborates with patient/family to update the plan of care.
• Research: reads journals and brings ideas to the staff for assessment.

Education

Graduation from a school of professional nursing

Registered Nurse license in North Carolina

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

One year of nursing experience
