Howard Head Sports Medicine is seeking a DEXA Technician to perform bone density scans and support osteoporosis diagnosis and monitoring. You will ensure high-quality imaging, accurate data capture, and a positive patient experience while following safety standards.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, image acquisition, and coordinating with providers. The role requires current BLS certification and experience with DXA protocols in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience performing DEXA scans preferred.
• Experience with DXA imaging protocols is a plus.
• Strong patient communication and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform DEXA/DXA scans according to orders and protocols.
• Position patients and operate imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images.
• Explain exams to patients, ensure comfort and safety, and verify orders.
