JobSquad Solutions Team in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Bonded Mixing and Pressing Tech for 3rd shift. You will read work orders, weigh and mix to spec, prepare molds, load and run the furnace, and inspect outputs to ensure quality.

The role requires attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and strict adherence to safety rules. The hourly wage is $17.00, with standard late-night shift hours (6AM start).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED/HSE or equivalent.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Good judgment and safety-conscious work habits.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow work orders, formulation sheets, and engineering drawings.
• Gather materials, weigh accurately, and mix to correct consistency.
• Prepare molds, clean, fill, level, assemble and press product to print requirements.
• Inspect products using scales, calipers, and micrometers before and after firing.
• Load, diagram each level, and run the proper firing cycle of the furnace.
• Visually inspect tooling for flaws pre- and post-pressing.
• Epoxy mount product to cores safely and accurately.
• Maintain a safe work environment and proper PPE usage.
• Report time and materials in manufacturing systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Location: Fort Wayne

Pay and Hours for Job + Benefits: $17.00 p/hr 6AM (Mon-Thurs)

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Required to read, understand, and follow work orders, formulation sheets and engineering drawing.
• Required to gather the proper materials, accurately weigh, and mix to the correct consistency
• Able to prepare the mold, clean, fill, level, assemble and press the product to print requirements
• Ability to inspect the product using scales, calipers, and micrometers both before and after firing
• Required to properly load, diagram each level, and run the proper firing cycle of the furnace
• Visually inspect tooling for obvious flaws, imperfections, or damage both pre and post pressing
• Ability to clean, mask, grit blast and prepare cores as required for epoxy mounting
• Ability to properly and safely epoxy mount product to cores
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations, and properly using and maintaining PPE
• Report time and material in manufacturing systems
• Other duties as assigned
