Job summary

Pro Resources Staffing Services is seeking a Production Operator for a Roanoke, Indiana facility. The role involves operating and maintaining machines to maximize production, with training on day shift through mid-October and a night shift schedule (10:30pm–6am).

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Ensure machine operation for maximum production runs, including some programming and adjusting settings to ensure quality and output.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Perform troubleshooting on machines with guidance from Supervisor, Quality, and Engineering.
• Oversee other team members on the production line and assist where needed to ensure operation and output are maximized.
• Use associated controls, devices, and measuring instruments to ensure accuracy.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Pro Resources is hiring for a facility that is part of a leading global green energy company producing secondary battery parts through active research and development investment in cylindrical cap assemblies, a safety device for electric vehicle batteries. This 150,000 square foot temperature-controlled facility in Roanoke, Indiana is the first in the United States and offers competitive pay, benefits, and a working environment that is employee-focused. We are seeking entry-level as well as experienced individuals to join the team.

Hours: 10:30pm-6am but will do training on 1st shift until Mid Oct. (6am-2:30pm plus two hours of OT)Pay: $18.00hr

The Production Operator Will

• Operate and maintain machines in a manufacturing environment
• Ensure machine operation for maximum production runs, including some programming and adjusting settings to ensure quality and output are achieved

• Prior logistics, shipping/receiving experience
• Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) knowledge
• Troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to read and understand English

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 45 lbs. routinely during shift
• Standing for prolonged periods of time
• Moving frequently in and around the warehouse and production facility

Essential Functions

• Able to stand and move frequently in and around the warehouse and production facility for extended periods, and lift up to 45 lbs. on a routine basis for a minimum 8-hour shift.
