Job summary

DFM Development Services is seeking a full-time Coordinator to support our Bond Release Services division in Reston, VA. The role documents project status through site visits, coordinates with county personnel, utilities, and prepares bond documents for county and state jurisdictions.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in construction or real estate development, strong communication and organization skills, and familiarity with permit applications. Office software experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction, homebuilding or real estate development.
• Strong professional communicator and organizational skills.
• Permit application and processing knowledge is preferred.
• Experience using office technology.

Responsibilities

• Site visits to document the project status.
• Meetings with County personnel.
• Manage and communicate with utility companies.
• Observe construction activities in the field.
• Prepare and deliver bond documents to County and State jurisdictions.
• Utilize computer software to organize project documents.
• Generate digital copy of punch lists and associated plans to send to clients.
• Support Bond Management Director and Senior Project Managers.
• Review construction plans and plats.
