We value diversity, educate on equity, and create inclusive partner opportunities to ensure that you know #UBelongAtUHM!DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESThoroughly reviews loan files to confirm all conditions are cleared and file is ready to closePrepare closing documents ensuring quality, correct closing fees, and proper closing conditionsVerify information for accuracy, such as legal names, legal address, terms, price, rate, title work, and hazardReview and deliver the Closing Disclosure, ensuring that the loan meets program guidelines, compliance, and company policiesSet up funding to send wire to title company for disbursement of fundsMaintain a closing pipeline, adhering warehouse wire time limitations, contract closing dates, and delivering complete closed loan files in a timely mannerMaintain up to date knowledge and trainings of all HFA products offered at UHMAssist with any post-closing findingsCloses a minimum of 70 loans per monthOther Duties as assignedEDUCATION & EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or equivalent1+ years of recent residential closing experienceMinimum of 2 years’ experience in the mortgage industryEncompass LOS experience strongly preferredSKILLS REQUIREDExcellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skillsProven computer skills on Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, and LOS systems preferredProficient math skillsKnowledge of FNMA/FHLMC/FHA/VA/HFA productsDetail-oriented and skilled at multi-taskingStrong time management and organizational skillsCan work with a sense of urgency when time constraints are involvedKnowledge of Closing DisclosuresThis employer participates in E-Verify.
