The Senior Loan Coordinator is responsible for working with the mortgage broker, underwriter and closer to gather and validate requisite loan documentation and data in order to originate a compliant loan as required by local, state, and federal regulations.At UHM, we understand diversity comes in many different forms. We value diversity, educate on equity, and create inclusive partner opportunities to ensure that you know #UBelongAtUHM!DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESWork with the Mortgage broker to obtain all required documentation necessary to approve and originate a fully compliant mortgage loanManage an average pipeline of 65 loansLoan Data Entry/ValidationDocument IndexingOrdering required validation services (verification of employment, tax transcripts, social security validation, property address validation, LDP/GSA, payoffs)Input and evaluate DU/LP findings, credit reports, verification of employment, income and asset documentation, preliminary title reports, Flood Certifications and Appraisals prior to forwarding the file to the UnderwriterMaintain communication with Broker partner, Account Executive, Underwriter, and Closer regarding individual loan files throughout the life of the loanEnsure proper disclosure as required by local, state, and federal regulations.Ensure compliance with Company policies and proceduresOther tasks as assignedEDUCATION & EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 2 years of processing experience with Govt., Conv., and DU/LPGeneral knowledge of mortgage products and processesKnowledge of RESPA requirements and Loan Estimate preparation and disclosureKnowledge of MS Office Suite and Encompass Loan Origination system is preferredSKILLS REQUIREDStrong verbal and written communication skillsDetail-orientedSkilled at multi-tasking and keeping organizedAble to work in a fast-paced environment with strict time deadlinesAbility to identify and resolve client issues and use good judgment in making immediate decisions that impact UHM, broker partners and clientsThis employer participates in E-Verify.
