Job summary

Union Home Mortgage Corp. is seeking a Senior Loan Coordinator to gather and validate loan documentation, coordinating with brokers, underwriters and closers to originate compliant loans.

You will manage a pipeline of about 65 loans, perform data entry, document indexing, and order validation services as needed. You will input and evaluate DU/LP findings, credit reports, and appraisals prior to forwarding to the underwriter, while maintaining cross-team communication and ensuring regulatory

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required or supported by experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of processing experience with Govt., Conv., and DU/LP.
  • General knowledge of mortgage products and processes.
  • Knowledge of RESPA requirements and Loan Estimate preparation and disclosure.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Mortgage broker to obtain all required documentation to approve and originate a fully compliant mortgage loan.
  • Manage an average pipeline of 65 loans.
  • Perform loan data entry and validation; document indexing.
  • Order required validation services (VOE, tax transcripts, etc.).
  • Input and evaluate DU/LP findings, credit reports, and appraisals; forward to Underwriter.
  • Maintain communication with Broker, Account Executive, Underwriter, and Closer throughout the loan lifecycle.
  • Ensure proper disclosures per regulations and company policies.

Job description

The Senior Loan Coordinator is responsible for working with the mortgage broker, underwriter and closer to gather and validate requisite loan documentation and data in order to originate a compliant loan as required by local, state, and federal regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Work with the Mortgage broker to obtain all required documentation necessary to approve and originate a fully compliant mortgage loan
  • Manage an average pipeline of 65 loans
  • Loan Data Entry/Validation
  • Document Indexing
  • Ordering required validation services (verification of employment, tax transcripts, social security validation, property address validation, LDP/GSA, payoffs)
  • Input and evaluate DU/LP findings, credit reports, verification of employment, income and asset documentation, preliminary title reports, Flood Certifications and Appraisals prior to forwarding the file to the Underwriter
  • Maintain communication with Broker partner, Account Executive, Underwriter, and Closer regarding individual loan files throughout the life of the loan
  • Ensure proper disclosure as required by local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures
  • Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of processing experience with Govt., Conv., and DU/LP
  • General knowledge of mortgage products and processes
  • Knowledge of RESPA requirements and Loan Estimate preparation and disclosure
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite and Encompass Loan Origination system is preferred
