Job summary

ASHFORD CONNEX, LLC is seeking a BOM Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of product structural data, bridging engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing. You will ensure data integrity, drive ECOs, and optimize manufacturing operations for efficiency and cost control.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in BOM management or related fields, strong ERP/MRP and PLM experience (Epicor 2024.2 a plus), and the ability to read engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Experience in BOM management, engineering documentation, or supply chain.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (Epicor 2024.2 is a strong plus) and PLM software.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent accuracy and communication to coordinate changes across teams.

Responsibilities

• BOM Lifecycle Management: Build and maintain detailed BOMs for products, assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
• Part Creation & System Maintenance: Load and manage parts within enterprise systems.
• Engineering Change Management: Implement ECOs and revisions to keep BOMs accurate.
• Data Integrity: Oversee BOM data in ERP systems to ensure cross-department consistency.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to resolve discrepancies and streamline processes.
• Cost & Inventory Control: Support material data accuracy and assist with Excess and Obsolete inventory activities.
