Job summary

Fanatics Inc. is seeking a Bill of Materials Specialist to oversee BOM development and execution within ERP planning and manufacturing systems. You will liaise with Brand teams and co-packers to ensure accurate product specifications for collectibles and toys.

The role focuses on creating BOMs in Excel, ensuring on-time item setup in Oracle, and coordinating planning across Brand Management and Project Management to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in product planning or manufacturing using BOMs for complex products is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Excellent Excel knowledge and skills, including lookups and data validation.
• Hands-on experience managing complex data with high levels of accuracy.
• Strong team player with ownership mindset.
• Proven ability to multi-task, juggle multiple projects and effectively determine priorities.
• Strong math background and numerical reasoning skills.
• Working knowledge of print manufacturing processes and technology a plus.

Responsibilities

• Development of all Bills of Material (BOMs) within Excel template and/or secondary platforms using Brand Team’s product descriptions / notes.
• Responsible for the execution and completion of Brand requirements from planning to print.
• Actively communicate across all business units to effectively coordinate planning operations between Brand Management and Project Management.
• Ensure all new items are set up in Oracle properly and meet all timelines required throughout the development, purchasing and sales processes.
• Ensure that product BOMs are developed on time and accurately to support in-system RFQs, manufacturing and costing.
• Assist Department Manager in development of process improvements for the product specification, BOM, and ERP manufacturing processes.
• Responsible for managing specific product groups as assigned by Planning Lead and possess system discipline from BOM creation to closure.
