Job summary

Fanatics Collectibles is seeking a Bill of Materials Specialist to manage BOM development and ensure accurate ERP planning for collectible trading cards and toys. The role sits at the intersection of product, planning, and manufacturing, coordinating closely with Brand Management and co-packers to meet product specs and timelines.

You will maintain BOM accuracy in Oracle, optimize data handling in Excel, and push process improvements across the product specification and costing workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in product planning or manufacturing using BOMs for complex products.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Excellent Excel knowledge with lookups and data validation.
• Hands-on experience managing complex data with high accuracy.
• Strong team player with ownership mindset.
• Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects.
• Strong math background and numerical reasoning.
• Working knowledge of print manufacturing processes and technology a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop BOMs within Excel template and/or secondary platforms using Brand Team’s product descriptions/notes.
• Responsible for the execution and completion of Brand requirements from planning to print.
• Actively communicate across all business units to coordinate planning operations between Brand Management and Project Management.
• Ensure all new items are set up in Oracle properly and meet all timelines throughout development, purchasing and sales processes.
• Ensure that product BOMs are developed on time and accurately to support RFQs, manufacturing and costing.
• Assist Department Manager in development of process improvements for the product specification, BOM, and ERP manufacturing processes.
• Responsible for managing specific product groups as assigned by Planning Lead and possess system discipline from BOM creation to closure.

Role Summary

The Bill of Materials Specialist is responsible for overseeing the development of BOMs and their execution within the ERP planning and manufacturing systems. This position interfaces between internal teams and co‑packers to ensure a clear understanding of our product requirements. Products include collectible trading cards and non‑sports entertainment toys/novelties.

• Development of all Bills of Material (BOMs) within Excel template and/or secondary platforms using Brand Team’s product descriptions / notes.
