Job summary

Fanatics is seeking a Bills of Materials (BOM) Specialist to oversee BOM development and ensure alignment with ERP and manufacturing schedules. You will collaborate with Brand Management and Project Management to meet product specs and timelines for collectibles and related goods.

The role requires 3+ years in BOM-driven planning, with strong Excel, data handling, and numerical skills. On-site, team-driven, and focused on accuracy and process improvements within the planning function.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in product planning or manufacturing using BOMs for complex products.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Excellent Excel knowledge, including lookups and data validation.
• Hands-on experience managing complex data with high accuracy.
• Strong team player with ownership mindset.
• Proven ability to multi-task, juggle multiple projects and effectively determine priorities.
• Strong math background and numerical reasoning skills.
• Working knowledge of print manufacturing processes and technology a plus.

Responsibilities

• Development of all Bills of Material (BOMs) within Excel template and/or secondary platforms using Brand Team's product descriptions / notes.
• Responsible for the execution and completion of Brand requirements from planning to print.
• Actively communicate across all business units to effectively coordinate planning operations between Brand Management and Project Management.
• Ensure all new items are set up in Oracle properly and meet all timelines required throughout the development, purchasing and sales processes.
• Ensure that product BOMs are developed on time and accurately to support in-system RFQs, manufacturing and costing.
• Assist Department Manager in development of process improvements for the product specification, BOM, and ERP manufacturing processes.
• Responsible for managing specific product groups as assigned by Planning Lead and possess system discipline from BOM creation to closure.

Role Summary

The Bill of Materials Specialist is responsible for overseeing the development of BOMs and their execution within the ERP planning and manufacturing systems. This position interfaces between internal teams and co-packers to ensure a clear understanding of our product requirements. Products include collectible trading cards and non-sports entertainment toys/novelties.
