Job summary

ElDorado National California Inc (ENC) in Riverside, CA is seeking an Engineer I, Bill of Materials (BOM) to create, configure, and maintain the BOM for manufacturing vehicles. You will liaise with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance to ensure cost-effective, accurate BOMs and smooth production flow.

The role requires BOM data expertise, ERP/PLM proficiency, and attention to detail to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of BOM management or data configuration experience.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP software (SAP/Oracle/Epicor) and PLM/PDM systems.
• Advanced Excel skills including VBA, lookups, and data manipulation.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and CAD models with precision.

Responsibilities

• Manage BOM configuration and parent-child relationships.
• Maintain EBOM and MBOM structures by assembly sequence.
• Configure product features and rules for accurate BOMs.
• Review and document ECN/ECO changes and impact analyses.
• Audit data across PLM, PDM, and ERP platforms.
• Enforce standard part-numbering schemas and metadata accuracy.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain for clean BOMs and sourcing.
• Align MBOM with factory routing and line capabilities.
• Communicate changes with cross-functional teams to prevent errors.
• Support cross-functional teams to optimize production workflow.
