Job summary

Honda Development & Manufacturing of America in Raymond, OH, seeks an Engineering BOM Administrator to manage BEAM-based BOM configurations and ECO/change records for new model launches.

You will validate part numbers, quantities, and dates, issue manufacturing instructions, and coordinate export data for global Honda facilities, collaborating with cross-functional teams and maintaining precise records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 0–4 years of BOM control, ECOs, or production control experience.
• Solid understanding of drawings, change procedures, and manufacturing instructions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (macros/VBA a plus) and CAD viewing tools (CATIA).
• High attention to detail and strong cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Administer BOM configurations for Engineering Design Changes (EDCs) within BEAM.
• Review 2D/3D drawings and validate part numbers, assemblies, quantities, and dates.
• Issue and route Manufacturing Instructions through change-point workflows and sign-offs.
• Configure vehicle combinations across engines, transmissions, and feature packages.
• Coordinate export BOM data for global Honda facilities.
