Job summary

ElDorado National California Inc. (ENC) in Riverside, CA is seeking an Engineer I, BOM to own the bill of materials data and ensure accurate EBOM/MBOM structures for manufacturing. This role links Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing and Quality to deliver cost-effective builds.

You will work with ERP/MRP, PLM/PDM systems and Excel to manage part numbering, revisions, and data integrity, supporting a fast-paced, onsite assembly environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology or equivalent education.
• 2-3 years related experience in BOM management or data configuration.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP software and PLM/PDM systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage BOM configuration and structure by establishing parent-child relationships between assemblies and components.
• Manage EBOM and MBOM views and convert into MBOM structured by assembly sequence.
• Manage features, options, and rules within product configurators to generate accurate BOMs.
• Review and document ECN/ECO changes.
• Assess impact of part changes on inventory, production, and cost.
• Input and audit data across PLM/PDM/ERP systems.
• Enforce standard part-numbering schemas and metadata accuracy.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain/Procurement for clean BOMs.
• Align MBOM with factory routing and assembly lines.
