Job summary

Sanhua International USA is seeking a detail-oriented BOL Clerk in Mississippi to manage bills of lading and shipping paperwork. You will prepare, verify, and process documents while coordinating with carriers and internal teams to ensure accurate, on-time shipments.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in shipping or logistics, strong organization, and proficiency with MS Office and WMS. Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; logistics coursework is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in shipping or logistics, especially bill of lading prep.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with WMS.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Bills of Lading: Prepare correct bills of lading in a timely manner, ensuring all information matches the physical parts packed
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all shipments and related documentation and provide follow up
• Coordinate with Departments: Work closely with the shipping, receiving, and inventory departments to ensure accurate and timely shipment of goods
• Liaise with Carriers: Communicate with external carriers to arrange for the transportation of goods
• Resolve Discrepancies: Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues with shipment documentation. Check hotlists and held ups/Fedex for potential last minute shipping problems or issues
• Track Shipments: Monitor and track the status of shipments, ensuring timely delivery
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to shipment documentation
• Report Preparation: Prepare and distribute reports related to shipping activities and discrepancies
