Job summary

eero, a network technology company, is seeking a Network Support Specialist to provide frontline technical support for wireless networks enabled by eero devices. The role is based in Boise, Idaho, on-site, with training provided to cover WiFi fundamentals and networking concepts.

You will configure routers, switches, firewalls, and access points, document interactions, and escalate complex issues to higher tiers.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer-facing support experience, including 6+ months in technical support
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
• Commitment to obtaining networking certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+) during company-provided training time
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
• Certified Wireless Technology Specialist (CWTS) certification is nice to have and trainable

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline technical support to customers via phone and email
• Configure network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
• Troubleshoot common network issues, such as connectivity problems, Wi-Fi issues, VPN problems
• Thoroughly document all support interactions and their resolutions
• Identify and elevate complex issues to higher tier support teams
