Job summary

Roundhouse is hiring an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee multifamily residential projects in the Boise, ID area. You will manage pre-construction through completion, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality results.

The role requires 5+ years in multifamily construction, strong knowledge of codes, safety standards, and proficiency with PM tools like Procore, MS Project, Primavera, and Smartsheet. Travel to job sites in the Boise region is expected.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in multifamily or similar construction project management.
Proven experience managing large-scale residential or multifamily construction projects.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, Primavera, Smartsheet).
Strong knowledge of construction procedures, codes, and safety regulations.
Ability to travel to job sites within the Boise area as needed.

Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day management of multifamily construction projects, including the development of project timelines, budgets, and work plans.
Supervise and lead a project team of contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Prepare, track, and manage project budgets. Identify and mitigate risks that may affect the budget or timeline. Approve and track subcontractor invoices and change orders.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate project changes.
Ensure all construction activities are compliant with safety regulations, quality standards, and local building codes.
Exercise judgment and discretion on matters, including budget approval, contract negotiation, and risk management.
Conduct site inspections and manage safety protocols.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
Provide regular progress updates and resolve any project issues or concerns.
Assist in the procurement of materials and subcontractors.
Manage contract negotiations and ensure adherence to contract terms and project specifications.
Anticipate potential issues and provide effective solutions to overcome construction challenges, minimizing project delays or cost overruns.
