Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Financial Analyst II to support budgets, forecasts, product costing, and month-end close activities within the Boise Front-End Operations Finance team.

This early-career role provides guidance from experienced finance professionals while you develop technical knowledge of manufacturing finance, cost analysis, and business partnering to drive cost insight and decision-support across manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Proficient in Excel or similar spreadsheet tools for organizing, analyzing, and presenting financial/operational data.
• Experience with accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and data analysis through coursework, projects, or internships.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain financial information to diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls, with strong attention to detail, accountability, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, budgets, and scenario analyses to support manufacturing operations.
• Analyze budget-to-actual results, track key performance measurements, and provide reporting and insights to finance and operations collaborators.
• Support product costing, operating expense planning, journal entries, financial reporting, and month-end/quarter-end close activities.
• Partner with operations and global finance teams to assess financial performance, risks, opportunities, and business drivers.
