CRH Americas Materials is seeking a Construction Operations Manager to organize and oversee western Idaho construction activities from the Boise market. You will manage field operations, coordinate with plant managers and transportation, and lead superintendents, estimators and project managers to meet schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 7 years Advanced Civil Construction experience specifically in Management.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management/ Civil Engineering required.
• Construction Operations, Scheduling and Supervisory experience required.
• Knowledge in industry standards, project specifications, and plan set drawings.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and monitor staff, acting as a coach and role model.
• Lead construction operations, scheduling equipment and manpower, and coordinating trucking needs with the transportation manager.
• Oversee daily construction operations and manage projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and reporting.
• Supervise superintendents, estimators and project managers.
• Ensure safety, environmental quality, ethics, and profitability standards are met.
• Maintain backlog reporting and long-term schedule; document and archive project correspondence.
