Quanta Power Solutions, LLC in Birmingham, AL seeks a Boilermaker Superintendent to lead boiler, HRSG, and related mechanical construction on large power projects. You will supervise craft crews, coordinate daily operations, review drawings, enforce safety, and drive schedule, quality, and turnover.

This role requires 10+ years of industrial construction and prior field leadership experience on heavy industrial EPC projects. Relocation may be required to project sites.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industrial construction experience with boiler/HRSG or heavy mechanical works.
• Experience as a Superintendent, General Foreman, or similar field leadership role.
• Experience on combined cycle, simple cycle, fossil, biomass, refinery, or heavy industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of rigging, steel erection, welding, pressure parts, and mechanical installations.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise boilermaker, pipefitter, ironworker, and subcontractors.
• Plan daily operations, manpower, equipment, and materials coordination.
• Oversee installation of HRSGs, boilers, ductwork, and mechanical systems.
• Review drawings, specs, and schedules for correct execution.
• Monitor productivity and progress to meet milestones.
• Coordinate with project management, engineering, quality, and commissioning teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements and conduct toolbox talks.
• Identify and resolve field construction issues and conflicts.
• Review craft timekeeping, progress reporting, and work plans.
• Support turnover, punch lists, and commissioning activities.
