Job summary

Zachry Group in Edmond, OK is seeking an experienced Boilermaker to construct iron/steel structures for HRSG and related projects on a new construction site.

The role requires 4+ years in boilermaking/ironworking and the ability to read blueprints, with experience on gas-fired HRSG units and working at heights up to 300 ft. Pre-employment screenings including drug tests and MVR are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience as Boilermaker/ironworker or comparable role.
• Experience on a Gas-fired Combined-Cycle HRSG unit.
• Ability to read IFC drawings and craft specs.
• Able to work at heights above 300 ft.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings including drug test and MVR.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints to determine scope, locations, quantities and sizes of materials.
• Identify tools required for tasks and assess safety risks.
• Fabricate equipment according to blueprints or supervisor instructions.
• Hoist equipment into position via bull rigging or crane.
• Verify alignment of structural-steel members using plumb bobs, lasers, or levels.
• Connect columns, beams and girders with bolts per drawings.
• Bolt aligned members for riveting or bolting.
• Cut, bend and weld iron/steel pieces as required.
