Job summary

Zachry Group is seeking an experienced Boilermaker to remove, replace, and repair piping and boiler components in a coal-fired power plant. You will troubleshoot equipment, fabricate steel and pipe, and perform maintenance safely, including working at heights and in confined spaces.

A valid license and NCCER certification are required. The role demands physical fitness, ability to pass a craft test, and willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and overtime.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of boilermaker experience in an industrial setting.
• NCCER Industrial Boilermaker Certification is required.
• Must pass the Boilermaker Craft Test and hold a valid Driver's License.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Read specifications, drawings and blueprints to determine work scope and material needs.
• Fabricate and install equipment according to drawings and supervisor instructions.
• Rig and move materials with cranes and rigging equipment.
• Perform welding, cutting, and pipe fabrication as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and lead helpers when assigned.
