Job summary

Responsibilities

• Construct, assemble, maintain, and repair stationary boilers and boiler house auxiliaries.
• Read blueprints to determine locations, relationships, or dimensions of parts.
• Bolt or arc welds pressure vessel structures and parts together using wrenches or welding equipment.
• Inspect vessels or components to locate defects and repair or replace parts as needed.
• Install boiler fittings, valves, gauges, and connections in boiler drums.
• Position and align parts per blueprints and securely frame boiler systems.
