Nestlé Purina Batavia is seeking a Boiler Operator (Utilities Maintenance Technician) to maintain and troubleshoot critical plant utilities systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work with maintenance, engineering and production teams to keep boilers, chillers, pumps and related equipment running safely and efficiently.

The role starts Monday-Friday 8am-4pm, then shifts to 4,10-hour days during training and finally nights (6pm-6am) on a 2-2-3 rotation.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical utilities systems in a manuf./industrial environment.
• Minimum of 1,000 hours of hands-on operating experience toward a boiler/license issued by the state.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot and optimize utilities systems and related mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Monitor, maintain and repair compressors, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, wastewater treatment, domestic water, hot water, refrigeration and fire systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance to prevent failures and promote safe operations.
• Use CMMS and diagnostic tools to reduce unplanned stoppages and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with team to maintain equipment and solve problems.
• Perform basic rigging, mechanical practices, pipefitting and welding in an industrial environment.
• Model safety and share utilities expertise to train others.
