Our Boiler Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of various types of boilers used in industrial, commercial, and residential settings. This role requires a strong understanding of boiler systems, including their components, controls, and safety measures. Essential Duties




    Installation: Properly install and set up new boiler systems based on manufacturer specifications, local codes, and safety guidelines.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on boilers to ensure optimal performance and longevity. This includes cleaning, inspecting, and testing boiler components, such as burners, heat exchangers, and safety devices.
  • Repairs: Diagnose and resolve boiler malfunctions and issues promptly. Troubleshoot problems related to boiler operation, leaks, pressure loss, and other mechanical or electrical faults.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure that all boiler installations and maintenance adhere to safety standards, regulations, and manufacturer guidelines. Conduct regular safety inspections and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Efficiency Enhancement: Identify opportunities to improve boiler efficiency and propose energy-saving solutions. Optimize combustion processes and heat transfers for better performance.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of boiler maintenance and repair activities, including service reports, parts inventory, and customer communication.
  • Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers and clients to explain boiler issues, necessary repairs, and maintenance recommendations. Provide outstanding customer service and support.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency boiler breakdowns and perform urgent repairs to minimize downtime and production interruptions.
  • Training: Train and mentor junior Technicians or boiler operators to enhance their knowledge and skills in boiler maintenance and operation.
  • Compliance and Regulations: stay up to date with relevant codes, regulations, and industry best practices related to boiler operations, safety, and environmental standards.





Minimum Requirements




  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven work experience as a Boiler Technician or similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of various types of boilers, their components, controls, and safety mechanisms.
  • Strong understanding of combustion processes, heat transfers, and thermal dynamics.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics related to boilers.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for boiler maintenance and repairs.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and perform tasks in confined spaces.
  • Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
  • Required boiler skills:
    • Planned maintenance, boiler pumps and circulating, boiler controller (external), troubleshooting and system installation.
  • Must be able to read schematics and blue prints.
  • Performs as self-managed individual.
  • Professional demeanor, solid interpersonal skills with good written and oral communication capability.
  • Demonstrates strong business ethics at all times.
