Job summary

Lamb Weston, Inc. in Twin Falls, Idaho is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician to monitor boiler and refrigeration equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation critical to product quality. You will coordinate with B&R Mechanics for larger repairs and maintain CMMS records daily.

Requirements include GED or HS diploma, lock-out/tag-out certification, and experience in food-processing maintenance. Strong English skills and ability to pass fit tests are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Lock-out/Tag-out certification is required. If you are not qualified, you will be trained and must meet certification requirements.
• Experience performing maintenance in a manufacturing environment, specifically food processing highly preferred.
• Pass pulmonary/fit test yearly due to SCBA usage.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication; instructions followed in English (location varies).
• Ability to be qualified within facility time frames and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Starts, operates, and shuts boiler, refrigeration, and auxiliary systems; reads meters and gauges at intervals.
• Records equipment data in daily logs and sheets.
• Adjusts controls to stay within prescribed ranges and switches to backups when needed.
• Visually inspects equipment and takes corrective action.
• Performs preventative and general maintenance; collaborates with B&R Mechanics for major repairs.
• Documents removal, installation, and repair of plant equipment.
• Explains boiler/refrigeration operation and troubleshooting decisions.
• Updates CMMS daily with work order results.
• Performs non-routine maintenance as assigned.
• Maintains organized workspaces, tools, 5S, and documentation.
