Job summary

Lamb Weston, Inc. in Quincy, WA is seeking a motivated maintenance technician (B&R) to support plant-wide maintenance and perform assigned tasks under supervision.

You will learn and follow precision maintenance techniques while following safety rules and the trainer, lead mechanic and maintenance team leader’s guidance. This role requires basic boiler and refrigeration knowledge, ability to operate plant equipment, and flexibility to work various shifts as production demands dictate.

Qualifications

• 2-year refrigeration certification or equivalent experience.
• RETA certification preferred.
• Basic knowledge of industrial, residential or commercial refrigeration, boilers and allied equipment.
• Understand water chemistry and plant applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular assigned checks.
• Keep logs up to date and document in SAP.
• Repair and overhaul basic equipment; troubleshoot.
• Proper start-up and shutdown of plant equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and directions from supervision.
