Responsibilities include operating boilers, performing chemical tests, maintaining water treatment systems, and conducting regular maintenance. The position requires Wisconsin residency, a valid Wisconsin driver’s license, and appropriate boiler licenses.

Qualifications

• Requires residency in Wisconsin at time of application.
• Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License required upon application.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalency required.
• Experience with high-pressure boilers or steam plants (1 year or more).
• Licenses: NIULPE 4th Class Stationary Engineer OR ASOPE 2nd Class OR Milwaukee High-Pressure Boiler Operator's permit.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-pressure steam plant and boilers; monitor and secure equipment.
• Perform daily chemical tests on boilers and water systems; adjust feed chemicals.
• Regenerate water softener and de-alkalizer resin; manage brine, salinity and salt bags.
• Perform planned maintenance on boilers and associated equipment.
• Maintain nitrogen pressure on standby boilers and manage cylinders.
