Job summary

Wilsonart LLC in Temple, TX is seeking a Boiler Operator to oversee the boiler room and associated systems. You will monitor pressure, temperatures, and water levels, respond to alarms, and maintain detailed logs to ensure safe plant operation.

Under direction of the Mechanical Supervisor, you will perform maintenance-related shutdowns/starts and support overall plant efficiency. Equal opportunity employer. Training and development opportunities provided.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
2+ years of power plant/boiler operation experience.
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance.
Ability to read instruments and gauges.

Responsibilities

Oversee boiler room operations and related equipment.
Monitor boiler pressure, water levels, and temperatures of all machinery.
Respond to system alarms and maintain logs.
Shut system down for maintenance and restart afterwards.
Control boiler house functions including boilers, air compressors, chillers, and dust collectors.
Monitor Hydrotherm water storage and cooling towers.
Follow shutdown/startup procedures during outages and maintenance.
