Artisan Chef Manufacturing Company in Lawrence, MA is seeking a dedicated Third Engineer Boiler Operator to manage and operate boilers and related systems on a full-time basis. The role emphasizes safe operation, preventive maintenance, and strict adherence to regulatory requirements.

You will monitor equipment performance, document activities, and support junior staff while coordinating with other engineers to ensure continuous, efficient plant operations.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years boiler operations and maintenance experience.
• On-call availability for emergencies or critical situations.
• Shift work including nights, weekends and holidays may be required.
• Valid Third Engineer (Boiler Operator) certification as per local or I standards of training, certification and watchkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor boilers, feed water systems, fuel systems, and auxiliary equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and overhauls of boilers and associated systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
• Maintain logs and reports of operations and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with engineering staff and assist in training junior personnel.
