Function Operations, Engineering and Maintenance

Job Description

1. Carry out operational activities in the Boiler & Power House, handling ambient conditions, noise, B3 waste, solid waste, and liquid waste in accordance with SOPs and standards/directions from the SHE team.

2. Monitor and report to superiors, GA, and managers about the expiration of licenses and calibrations for both equipment and personnel.

3. Operate utility boilers, generators, and compressors efficiently and safely.

4. Ensure adequate supply of steam pressure in line with operational needs.

5. Record and validate the operating parameters of boilers, generators, and compressors to ensure compliance with standards.

6. Regulate the distribution of steam as required.

7. Prepare fuel, consumables, spare parts, and service equipment based on operational parameters.

8. Periodically check the availability of fuel, consumables, spare parts, and service equipment.

9. Provide proper care for boiler equipment.

10. Clean essential operational parts as needed.

11. Adhere to occupational health and safety protocols in the work environment.

12. Complete data on operational activities accurately.

13. Maintain and clean work tools and areas in the utility area.

14. Follow instructions, procedures, and schedules within specified time limits, adhering to health and safety principles.

15. Work according to a predetermined schedule and area.

16. Properly use, care for, clean, and store equipment and work tools.

17. Continue the work of co-workers as per superior's instructions and procedures.

18. Comply with all applicable SHE regulations and ensure work is conducted safely according to SHE procedures.

19. Use chemicals appropriately and efficiently.

21. Operate and maintain equipment under required conditions.

22. Act in accordance with occupational health and safety standards at all times.

23. Implement SHE practices in a sustainable manner.

24. Prevent operational activities that cause environmental pollution, including water, air, and soil contamination.
