Job summary

Hamline University is seeking a part-time Facilities Technician to operate and maintain the Central Plant equipment, including high-pressure steam boilers and chillers. You will monitor the building automation system, perform water treatment, and coordinate with contractors for campus projects.

The role requires a Minnesota 1st Class B Engineers License (or higher), a high school diploma or GED, and at least 3 years of boiler operation experience.

The incumbent also has responsibilities for the operations and maintenance of building systems throughout the campus, including the monitoring and operation of the Building Automation system. This position is responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance as needed and responding to all emergencies in a timely manner.
