Job summary

Sprung Services in Burnsville, MN seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a 24/7 food manufacturing operation. You’ll perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, monitor a high‑pressure boiler, and ensure safety, quality, and uptime.

Qualifications

• Minnesota 2B Boiler License or higher required.
• 10+ years of related maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Strong electro-mechanical background with couplings, shaft alignment, bearings, gears, and lubrication.
• Ability to read technical documents, drawings, and schematics.
• Knowledge of digital electronics, AC/DC motors, servo motors, and drives.
• Experience with PLCs and automated processing systems, including troubleshooting and edits.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Accurate written documentation and electronic work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Monitor the high‑pressure boiler for safe and efficient operation.
• Keep a clean, GMP‑compliant work environment with proper housekeeping.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild equipment to minimize downtime.
• Read schematics and replace worn components; operate machine tools when needed.
• Document maintenance work and parts, and manage inventory effectively.
• Assist with on‑the‑job training and support the maintenance team.
• Commit to safety, quality, and food safety policies in all tasks.
