Job summary

Mullican Flooring is seeking a highly motivated individual that wants a long-term career in hardwood flooring manufacturing. This entry-level role assists boiler/kiln operators, tends to our boiler to dry lumber, and supports plant security and fire watch. The 3rd shift is full‑time with competitive benefits.

Anticipated salary range is $18.25–$19/hour. The position offers health, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), paid vacations and holidays, and life/AD&D insurance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays according to schedule.
• Understand and follow oral or written instructions issued by supervisors.
• Perform a variety of duties which may change.
• Evaluate information using measurable standards.
• Understand basic machine components and operation.
• Solid decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Hourly rounds/walk throughs throughout the mill.
• Clean boiler area and report hazards.
• Assist boiler operator as needed.
• Perform daily reports as required.
