Idaho Forest Group is seeking a Swing Shift Boiler/Kiln Operator as an entry level position into the Boiler-Kiln Apprenticeship program. Selected candidate will progress through work-up steps, complete required training, and accumulate hours toward the top level.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification is required.
• Boiler/Kiln experience preferred, entry level pathway available.
• Willingness to obtain GED if needed.
• Compliance with safety rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load and unload kilns and move product.
• Dry lumber using computer-controlled kilns and monitor equipment.
• Complete daily paperwork and reports on computer.
• Perform pre-operating checks on equipment and maintain clean work area.
• Follow all safety rules and company policies.
