Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on boilers and related equipment to ensure reliable operation.
• Diagnose and repair component, equipment, and system issues on-site.
• Respond to emergency service calls and troubleshoot issues on-site.
• Understand boiler control systems and snow melt/zone controls.
• Install, test, and commission boilers per specs and recommendations.
• Assist in boiler replacement projects with coordination among trades.
• Understand relevant codes and building requirements.
• Document service activities with detailed work orders and reports.
• Follow safety procedures including lockout/tagout, PPE, and ladder safety.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicle in good condition.
• Communicate clearly with customers and office staff about status and follow-ups.
