Job summary

Cleaver-Brooks Sales & Service is seeking a Technician Final Assembly in Thomasville, GA. You will assemble boilers, mount components, wire complex electrical systems, and test gas trains and related equipment to meet strict quality standards.

The role requires reading prints, understanding electrical schematics, and adherence to all safety regulations. Physical ability to lift, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperatures is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read prints and wire all applications in the head shop, including motors and all 24, 110, 208, 230, 460 and 575 voltage components.
• Must know, understand and abide by all plant safety rules and regulations.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. chest high on a regular basis.
• Must be able to work up to 12 hours standing and walking on a hard cement surface.
• Able to climb stairs and work in temperature ranges matching outside ambient conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble burner drawers and air compressors and mount components on boiler front heads and control panels.
• Mount gas trains, oil piping, air lines, and associated components on boilers of various sizes.
• Wire all components from E-box to pressure controls and other subsystems per wiring diagrams.
• Test gas trains, water columns, starter trains and pilot trains for proper operation.
• Ensure safe, compliant installation and adherence to plant procedures.
