Job summary

Cleaver-Brooks in Thomasville, GA is seeking an entry-level Trainee to build and install component parts on boiler heads in preparation for test firing.

You will assemble burner drawers, mount equipment on front heads, read prints, wire panels and controls, and work up to 12 hours on site in a safety-conscious production environment.

This role requires basic reading/writing and math, with preferred technical training in industrial electricity and relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Good reading, writing and math skills required.
• Technical training as an industrial electrician preferred.
• Minimum six months as Trainee or one year of electrical and/or plumbing/piping experience in related manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble burner drawers and air compressors.
• Mount components on boiler heads including control panels and wiring.
• Read prints and wire all components per diagrams and safety rules.
• Adhere to plant safety rules and perform duties as directed by supervisor.
