Job summary

Cleaver-Brooks in Thomasville, GA is seeking a Trainee to build and install component parts on boiler heads and systems for test firing. This entry-level role requires very limited decision-making and a strong focus on safety.

Responsibilities include assembling burner drawers and piping, wiring panels, reading prints, mounting gas trains, and testing components to ensure correct operation. We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits, plus training and growth opportunities within

Qualifications

High school education or GED preferred.
Technical training as an industrial electrician preferred.
Minimum of six (6) months as a Trainee or one (1) year of electrical and/or plumbing/piping experience in related manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Assemble burner drawers and air compressors and cut pipes as required.
Mount components on boiler heads, including gas/oil piping, control panels and electrical wiring.
Wire and test gas trains, water columns and starter trains for correct operation.
Read prints and wire applications in the head shop, including motors and voltage components.
Work safely following plant rules and participate in other duties as directed.
