Job summary

Delta Air Lines seeks a Facilities Technician to help keep our campus safe and reliable. You will start, regulate, and shut down boilers, monitor controls, perform preventive maintenance, and log data to ensure consistent operations.

This role requires a Class 1C Boiler License, ability to work 3rd shift, and a commitment to safety. You’ll maintain mechanical and electrical systems, use building maintenance software, and support a variety of facility teams to keep Delta running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Safety-first mindset and ability to safeguard personal data.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 18+ with legal work authorization in the United States.
• Class 1C Boiler License or higher.
• Ability to work 3rd shift (10:00 PM–6:00 AM), some weekends.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Proficient with computer and building maintenance systems.
• Respect for privacy and diverse perspectives.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on tasks to completion and update management.
• Start, regulate, and shut down boilers safely.
• Perform preventive maintenance and replace parts.
• Test boiler water and apply chemical treatments.
• Log data and report major malfunctions.
• Inspect safety equipment and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain facility equipment and operate HVAC and electrical systems.
• Maintain records in the maintenance system and ensure quality.
• Operate and monitor Building Management System.
• Perform basic repairs to maintain facility appearance.
• Maintain safety training and promote safety-first culture.
