Job summary

ABM Industries Inc. located in Savannah, GA, seeks a Plant Engineer for night shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM) to perform maintenance and safety inspections on HVAC equipment. The role involves operating boilers, chillers, cooling towers, pumps and related systems, with licensing offered to experienced technicians and a comprehensive benefits package included. Qualifications

• Experience with maintaining heating, ventilation and cooling systems is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow safety protocols and regulations.
• Willingness to perform various site tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance on HVAC equipment, boilers, chillers, pumps and air handling units.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Perform repairs and support operations as needed, including night shift tasks.

Job description

The Plant Engineer performs scheduled maintenance, safety inspections and repairs to varying types of equipment. Follows safe practices and complies with company and regulatory standards. Operate or assist in operating all heating and ventilating equipment, engines, motors, combustion engines, pumps, air compressors, air conditioning units, fans and siphons on the site assigned. Must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 11:00PM - 7:30AM
Pay: Based on experience and licensing
We offer licensing to experienced boiler, chiller, and cooling tower technicians.
