Job summary

ABM US in Savannah, GA is seeking a Plant Engineer responsible for scheduled maintenance, safety inspections and repairs on heating, ventilating and related equipment. You will operate or assist in operating boilers, chillers, pumps, air compressors and fans on site.

The schedule is Monday to Friday 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Pay is based on experience and licensing; ABM offers licensing support for experienced boiler, chiller and cooling tower technicians.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance and safety inspections on heating, ventilating and related equipment.
• Repair and troubleshoot equipment as needed to ensure uptime and safety.
• Follow safety practices and comply with company and regulatory standards.

Job description

The Plant Engineer performs scheduled maintenance, safety inspections and repairs to varying types of equipment. Follows safe practices and complies with company and regulatory standards. Operate or assist in operating all heating and ventilating equipment, engines, motors, combustion engines, pumps, air compressors, air conditioning units, fans and siphons on the site assigned. Must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 11:00PM - 7:30AM
Pay: Based on experience and licensing
