Job summary

Planet Pharma is seeking a field-based maintenance specialist responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of clean utilities, HVAC, power/HPW systems in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting in Georgia.

The role requires hands-on experience with boilers, steam systems, compressed air, chillers, cooling towers, RO/DI, HPW, clean steam, generators and electrical systems, plus strong EHS compliance and communication skills. Pay rate is $20/hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 5+ years in manufacturing, pharma preferred.
• Associates/Technical Degree with 2+ years in manufacturing, pharma preferred.
• Knowledge of and adherence to EHS requirements.
• Intermediate problem solving/troubleshooting.
• Proficient verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment related to clean utilities and HVAC.
• Maintain boilers, plant steam systems, compressed air systems, chillers, cooling towers, RO/DI, HPW, clean steam systems, generators and electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with EHS requirements and safety standards.

Job description

Independently plays a key role in maintenance, troubleshooting and repair in all aspects relative to good maintenance practices of equipment, reliability and performance of systems such as clean utilities, clean room HVAC, power plant/utilities and HPW systems.

Experience: Training and/or hands on in, Boilers and plant steam systems
Compressed air systems, Centrifugal chillers and cooling towers, Process chill water systems, RO/DI, HPW systems, Clean steam systems, Generators and electrical systems.

Education:
High School Diploma +5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in a pharmaceutical industry.
Associates Degree/Technical Degree in a relevant field of study +2 years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a pharmaceutical industry.
Knowledge of and adherence to EHS requirements.
Intermediate level problem solving/troubleshooting.
Proficient verbal and written communication

Pay Rate: $20/hr
