Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Sacramento, California, is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor for bogie assembly to lead a hands-on team. You will drive safe, high-quality, efficient assembly operations while coordinating with Quality, Engineering, Scheduling, and Procurement to meet customer commitments.

The role requires strong leadership, 5+ years of supervision in manufacturing, and experience interpreting drawings with SAP familiarity.

Qualifications

5+ years of production supervision experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop hourly teams with a strong safety culture.
Experience driving safety, quality, schedule adherence, productivity and cost improvements.
Strong leadership and collaboration across Production, Quality, Engineering, Scheduling, Procurement.
Experience interpreting engineering drawings; knowledge of mechanical/electrical assembly; SAP preferred.
Rail or rolling stock manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a production team through performance feedback and training.
Plan, coordinate, and prioritize bogie assembly to meet schedules, quality, and shipping goals.
Monitor performance, identify constraints, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Provide leadership and technical support to assembly; collaborate with machining, welding, Quality, Engineering, Scheduling, and Procurement.
Champion a Zero Harm culture by ensuring safety procedures and PPE compliance.
